Homemade sweet shop - potential products

Direct mail- 3 to 6 recipes as tasters.

I decided to research hand made drawing styles for the homemade sweet shop and came across these recipe cards. These illustrations use an old fashioned approach where the imagery is of old fashioned tea cups, but they are created in a way which incorporates a modern approach as well. Using vectorised images with a simple colour pallette. I also really like the way it is a little out of proportion so it looks hand done.
They use a hand drawn type style which works with the illustration and display the recipe, this could be an interesting idea for a direct mail campaign. The brief focusses on a small sweets and chocolate shop, the client base will be the people who live close by. Therefore a direct mail campaign could be useful since the target market is a smaller group of people.

These cards also have a really nice illustrative approach, i like the simple shape design with the old fashioned floral colouring. Since the brief is focusses on homemade sweets and chocolates, People would usually buy them as gifts, therefore a nice gift bag design, or cards could be a potential product idea.
