This book cover would be perfect for the design context. I could even potentially keep the 'something to tell you' title since it works in the interview context. 
Another cover I considered to focus on, but after finding the 'something to tell you' cover I think that will work more. QUOTES FROM INTERVIEW:
"I would do more hand-lettering if I could but it can be very time-consuming."
"figure out the thing that you do well and amplify it"
"Don't try to mimic what everyone else is doing because you will never stand out"
nice inspirational quote, think I will go with this one
"A great cover is only great if the buyer actually sees the book."
