Moomah Café

I came across the packaging and identity for moomah cafe, which i think is really strong. i absolutely love the idea behind the imagery. even though the images are different throughout the different packaging ist has a similar illustration style and subject. Which gives it a really quirky vibe. i would love to create something like this.

imagery is very random and jumbled up of different products. this is the type of shopping bag which you would keep because it so unique and interesting. the images are really strong. with a really simple colour theme allowing the imagery to stand for itself. Although i would have loved to see these images in a hand drawn style, making it even more quirky, but thats my own personal style. i love the touch of the blue colour on the side. Reakky faint and almost looks a little wrong on the paper stock. but the quirkiness of the imagery makes it work.

the blue is brough across in the coffee cup. With imagery which suits the product.

I love the stock chosen through out the designs. Keeping it all really consistent and making them work as a set. One of my biggest weaknesses is paper stock. Its something that i sometimes forget to consider because I get lost in the design work. Also since my designs are usually colour orientated digital print on white paper stock is the most appropriate. Although when i see designs like this i wish i spent more time working with different paper stocks to see how my designs would work on them.
