Packaging options

I decided to research into where i could get sweets packaging. These are the styles that i found and thought would be useful for this project.

Round boxes to display dolls and other light items. These clear flexible thin PVC acetate cylinder boxes come in two styles.
The top and bottom are circular caps about 3/8" deep.
The 14" & 22" sides come as flat sheets and you must insert 3 tabs into the opposite side of the sheet to construct a cylinder. This is a bit tricky as the tube you make is quite unstable until the bottom cap is in place.
3. The two smaller sizes have sides that come as round cylinders folded flat which makes them easier than the large sizes but they have a problem in that due to the fold the ends tend to gap at the fold (
see here) Given all this, they are still a great value at the price.

Gusseted glassine food bags for a better fit and larger items.

A selection of pillow boxes made of clear PVC. Sold flat.

A selection of pillow boxes made of clear PVC. These boxes also have a hanger hole in one of the flaps for easy display. You can either fold the flap with the hanger hole in first and use as a plain pillow box or leave the flap unfolded and use as seen here. Sold flat.

Jars are made of P.E.T.(polyethylene terephthalate) which is a high quality, impact-resistant, food-grade plastic. The Jars are clear and can hold a wide variety of items including; food, candy, powders, creams, etc. The black screw-on Lid (included) has no liner and is smooth and flat to accommodate labels.

Clear 1.2 mil "cello" polypropylene bags made of clear hard cast sheets of polypropylene. This clarity cannot be made into a tube therefore these bags are made with a seam up the back and are therefore more expensive. These bags meet FDA and USDA specifications for food contact and are made of 100% virgin, high clarity polypropylene film.
