QUESTIONS FOR CRIT

1) Which colour combination works best for the sweet shop logo?

pink + brown
purple + green
neither (rework it)

answers:

pinks work better with the sweet shop theme. but the stationary may need some reworking if you want to try and have a contemporary quality to the design.

2) Box labels (sweet shop)

Do they work better using original logo colours (p+B/p+G) or with the colour changes to represent the flavour? and can you tell which flavour each of the vanity puffs are by the image, or does it need to be written?

answer:

flavours are more obvious with the different colour choices, but don't change the colour of the logo. Keeping the same colour will help make it more recognisable.

3) Should I include imagery (lined drawings) in the bagged sweet packaging or do they work better without? if so, which one works the best?

Works better without the illustrations on this particular packaging design, but on the others keep the illustration to help with the flavour choice.

4) does all the sweet shop packaging work as a set? what isn't working?

Similar design shown throughout, but to make them work as a set the colour of the logo should stay the same. Spent a lot of time deciding on the logo colour and losing it in the packaging design. They won;t work with the stationary otherwise.

5) Which book covers are the most successful for the adult and childrens book cover design? what isn't working?

The quote book cover design with the little logo as the title is working really well. Others are also really nice but the quote one is the strongest.
